Progress Check- 4/15/24

So for this project I planed to have a combination of work in different mediums, focusing on the same character. The first one, SD5687, is based around a service droid. There would be a sculpture, in this case of his hand, an illustration breaking down his full appearance as well as some backstory, and a short story or scene demonstrating his character. In a way it is a bit like a museum display in which you can read about the significance of an object or person, while seeing their Muscat and a picture or painting from the time period of that individual.

This, like all my projects, is taking me longer than I anticipated, I also missed some valuable working time when I was out of the country so I feel a bit behind. So far, I have drawn two illustrations and created the base for both sculptures. I still need to write their short stories and figure out if I want to record a me reading them or if I just post a link to the story on the wall.

Thankfully I have some time before the senior show to prepare these two final works and figure out the specifics but it has been much less difficult to work this small compared to my previous projects. I am also enjoying it a lot more than the well.
