Process Piece: The Wishing Well Feb. '24

It does not currently look that impressive so far but it is on the way. It also doesn't help that this isn't the most updated photo but it is the majority of work I have done. It is missing the roots as well as details along the bottom of the well. I also started putting in the roof and bars shooting out of the sides as supports.
As I move forward I am going to add more ruffing around the edges to make the stones look more organic. Coach suggested I hit it with a heat gun to make the edges a bit more smooth.
I am glad I made this project much lighter than my previous Overgrown Android piece. It would be a lot more of a hassle if I hadn't made it from cardboard and styrofoam.
Anyways I can't really say how its going until I get to the detail work. The basing is always tedious and I enjoy painting and texturing things a lot more because I feel as if I have made a lot more progress when the piece starts coming alive.
We are almost at the spray paint point so hopefully I will get there soon.
